Tom Sweeney In Concert at The Shanachie Wednesday March 5!
As a young boy Tom was immersed in the great tradition of ballad singing around the kitchen table of his grandmother Sarah Makem - considered one of the greatest sources of songs in the rich history of Irish music. From that early introduction, Tom has developed a
repertoire and style replete with the very essence of Irish culture that has enchanted crowds all across Ireland, Europe and North America even taking him to The White House to perform on St. Patrick's Day in 1998. We are proud to bring Tom Sweeney to The Shanachie!
